Question for someone on the Empress of the sea TODAY - FEB 20

How did your ship handle the strike problems in Costa Maya?  What time did they make any announcer?

I would be interested to hear the details also.  We will be there on March 5, sailing on Liberty.

Huh??!!!  We were docked all day next to Empress here in Costa Maya on Rhapsody.  No strike, no problems, no difference in getting off the ship.  Lots of happy cruisers all over Costa Maya, including huge MSC ship docked next to us.  Nothing different at all.  

 

Where are you getting this strange information??!!

It was announced over the PA system on our MSC ship.  INTO THE CABINS.  A few people we spoke with who went into town found that there was no power.  Other areas had no problems.

There were problems on Tuesday, when presumably you were at sea or another port?

Yesterday some ships didn’t dock.

 

Glad to hear it seems resolved, at least for now, as we will be there soon.

The power situation was apparently unrelated and just for a few hours.
