Ovation of the Seas & Spectrum of the Seas will be meeting in Sydney!

I just heard that Ovation Of The Seas is scheduled to meet Spectrum Of The Seas Sydney in harbour on 29 Feb 2020 at 6.30pm!! 😮

It shroud be a great sight!

We are planning on going into city to take a look at the 'sail-by' & then to see Spectrum berth at OPT. Yes, I know.... but we haven't been on a cruise since Feb last year 😞

I am Ovation at the moment so plan on getting up to watch us pass by Spectrum in the pre dawn.

Spectrum reaches OPT before it leaves Athol Buoy. Dunno how that works!!

Looks like Spectrum is at OPT and Ovation is now at anchor. My sister is on Ovation.

we went in to the city & took the noon Zoo Ferry to get a good view of Spectrum, both outward & return journey. Looked magnificent on a wonderful Sydney day.

On return to CQ, we took a good look at Ovation. Boarding looked to be going extra smooth around 1pm - no real queues, and not even any bank-up of shuttles etc.

Retired to Ship Inn for some refreshments.  Ovation departed 4:15pm & Spectrum then docked at 5:15pm.

Hope all the emergency personnel have great cruises - a 3rd one announced.

 

Speculation continues about Spectrum staying on for more 'pay' cruises. 🙂

I enjoy the bevies and pizza at the ship Inn prior to most cruises out of the OPT.

Great news about the 3rd Firie freeby, I too am wondering what will happen after that one.
