jhenry1 Posted February 27, 2020 Author #4 Share Posted February 27, 2020 Where are all the cruisers that have taken this cruise and can give suggestion?
1982CruzStart Posted February 27, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 27, 2020 We didn't take this cruise but we did take the Lisbon to Cape Town cruise and had Walvis Bay in common with your cruise. In Walvis Bay we did the treasures of the Namib Desert by off road vehicle and found it very interesting. I heard others took the seal and pelican cruise and really enjoyed it. A few years back we did a Regent cruise that stopped in Durban and Richard's Bay. If you are interested in ceramics and art i highly recommend the Howick Falls and Ardmore Ceramics tour from Durban. I am fascinated with hippos and we did the St Lucia Wetlands Nature Reserve and it was one of the best tours we did as we saw many hippos and had an excellent captain/tour guide for the cruise. You may be able to find a thread from last year's group that will provide more information for you.
Carol From California Posted February 28, 2020 #6 Share Posted February 28, 2020 Adda Elephant Park by 4 x 4. We loved it! Inkwenkwezi Private Game Reserve to see white lions, but let me warn you it is very bumpy and not advised if you have a bad back like me. If you book the pre-cruise or post-cruise safari we really loved Bayethe at Shamwari.
