The OP (me) gave accurate info five hours ago. Things can still change, but what is it with the fake news? This was crazy!

This time line as I followed. Mexico denied entry around 3:00, then they went into conference call and the decision was over-turned with that "treaty' or whatever they called it. I don't think (or at least I hope not) that NYtimes, abcnews, and usnewsweekly got the story wrong with fakenews (although I don't doubt anything with the news anymore). I would like to think that the major US news lines posted the first story (which was to deny the ship) and later things changed. They are now posting the updated story. This exact thread goes to show how dynamic NCoV situation really is. Mera is definitely headed to Cozumel...

An hour ago, AIS/Marinetraffic showed her almost to the dock in Cozumel.  Now she is heading away.  EM

Yes, pulled in and pulled right back out. According to a report on social media the captain said it's too rough to dock. Waiting for better weather. Probably morning. This is like a bad soap opera.
