How do I see my shareholders credit on my booking?

I am new to sailing with HAL.  I faxed my shareholders credit info today and received an email back that the shareholder credit has been applied.  When I log into my bookings I do not see it and do not know how much it is for a 14 day sailing?  Where do I find this on my booking?

Can I apply this shareholders credit to shore excursion bookings, buying a drink package or buying specialty dining now?  If not, when I can I apply it to onboard purchases?

Thanks so much.

It does not show up on your online booking.

Get your TA to confirm, they know and can view it.

It's a credit on your onboard account......you will see it there once on the ship and yes, you can use it for anything that is billed to your onboard account.

(It's a great benefit)

Welcome to HAL.

(1)  for 14 days or greater it is 250$USD

(2 a)  if you have booked through HAL it will show up on your booking.  Log into HAL, select MY BOOKINGS, select your booking, then select MANAGE PAYMENTS.  I'd ship a screenshot, but alas, i don't have a current booking.

(2 b)  if you have booked through a TA, it will be available for them to see in POLAR - HAL's GDS -- they will confirm and re-print your booking summary for you specifying your OBCs.

(3) Credit may be used for anything onboard, except it 'cannot be used for casino credits/charges and gratuities charged to your onboard account' per https://www.carnivalcorp.com/static-files/50351a91-4dc0-4f6b-bfec-684647e6129f. While i don't have casino spend, i haven't had my hotel service charge excluded either, so it seems a bit flexible in my experience.

Hope this helps,

Scott.

I take a printed copy of the email confirmation as one time just showing my email on my phone wasn’t good enough for them and they said it didn’t show on their end.  Took a couple of days but was credited.

Our TA gives us a copy of all the shipboard credit we are due from various sources.  It does not show up on HAL's site.

Then I make a couple of extra copies to take with us -- have had problems with HAL a couple of times.

You can not use the shipboard credit until you are on the ship.  Then it can be used for anything except the casino.

I see it on my TA's site, I can't see it on the HAL site, there is a list of OBC, some from HAL, some from the TA and this one for the shareholder credit
