ltlslick1 Posted March 12, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2020 Like the title says, trying to gauge if people are still cruising. I read the headlines about the cancellations, and I’m sure there is a lot of them, but how many are pushing through and making the trip?

Ken at the beach Posted March 12, 2020 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2020 It will be around 50% for the Anthem departing this Sunday
dreamer976 Posted March 12, 2020 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2020 I’m surprised that this thread isn’t in the 🔥 category. Surely those currently cruising that have the internet are following the news with abandon.

While 50% is horrible from a profitability standpoint, it’s actually still a pretty high number. That’s fair from sailing empty.

Perhaps a welcomed change for those that have opined that ships are too crowded to begin with. Not suggesting this a reason to jump on a sailing right now but will be curious to hear feedback from those who experience it.
cruisn4bruisn Posted March 12, 2020 #11 Share Posted March 12, 2020 On Majesty at the moment. Ship seems 100%. We missed Key West on Monday because of high winds. Came back and stopped today. If we had any issues I’m sure that wouldn’t have happened. Nobody seems overly concerned. Lots of sanitizing stations around the ship. All we can do. Hopefully by Saturday we will still be symptom free.

ARandomTraveler Posted March 13, 2020 #18 Share Posted March 13, 2020 I’m not on a cruise but I’m at Disney World and life goes on as usual here. Still crowds, still 90 minute waits on the popular rides. Not a ton of older people but there are definitely some. Lots of babies, lots of pregnant women, lots of children.

There was talk a decision would be made early this morning. Glad you sailed away. We had a great time and the sanitizers were everywhere! 👍😊

mishelly76 Posted March 14, 2020 #25 Share Posted March 14, 2020 On serenade now. Half full. Maybe 100 people at comedy show last night. Only one level of dining room open. Walked up to pool at 9 am and got two chairs poolside with maybe 3 other people in the row of 20 chairs.
