P&O Cruisers - What are things like where YOU are?

Went to bed 2am hoping for a lie in but still woke up to a lovely morning at 7am.

Lets hope England play at a lively pace like Scotland did and I agree they

deserved more out of the game last night .

Mrs K is feeling a bit tender this morning . Yesterday she decided to clean the

hoover out and for some reason decided to put the hoover pipe down on the 

kitchen floor where she could trip over it ,which I must admit she did perfectly

as she went down like a sack of spuds after a short flight across the floor.

 

I have pointed out if she wants to be a flying witch then she needs a broomstick

as hoovers don't work that well.

This morning she feels a bit sore but no real damage done to herself or the hoover.

Took her a morning cuppa and told her to have a lie in as she didn't sleep that well.

@kalos - I hope Mrs K is not feeling too sore and that the hoover is undamaged so you can take over that duty 🤣🤣. Maybe try and channel your inner Freddie Mercury and put “I want to break free” on at full volume!

The really important thing is that she can't have broken her hip or femur -  I can attest that is something you don't want to do,  So, at least that was a little bit of luck, and I hope she will be back on form to do everything again soon.  (But maybe be an extra help for a while, kalos, as I am sure you will be).

Overcast again here, with showers forecast for this morning, but expected to clear up later and become warm🤞

 

Daughter is comng round this evening to watch the match with OH, they both support Italy. So it won't be a quiet evening!

I hope Mrs K is feeling better soon kalos. It's not just the bruising, but falling really shake's you up as you get older. We don't bounce as well as we used to.

I hope she's up and about soon and give her our best.🤗

 I left a space after the text  sometimes the photo gets crammed and turns sideways

seems to happen on  phones .

If using desktop then I open with PAINT  then rotate 360 deg ,save and post

I had a lovely lunch with my friend (sorry no pictures). 

For Stokies we went to the Swynnerton Arms at Meir Heath, it has recently reopened under new management and the food is now very good and excellent value for money.

There has been some sort of incident at this end of the city because we counted 7 ambulances coming past on blue lights.
