Had the results from my MRI on monday (only had MRI saturday) Breast cancer I had in 2013 has spread to my spine. Now have to wait for appointment to see oncologist. I am wondering about going on my cruise in august. Have bank insurance but that won't cover me now as they cannot cure it but they can treat it. Wondering if anyone in a similar situation can advise me about insurance. Obviously I will have to see oncologist first but only have until 23april to pay balance.

I'm sorry to learn of the results from your MRI. I am lost for words and honestly don't know what to say, except that I hope for a good outcome, and you can still have your much needed cruise

Sorry to hear that disappointing news - wishing you all the best for future treatment

I’m sure there are specialist travel insurance companies who will be able to help, in fact I think I’ve read some suggestions on here, but too long ago to remember names.

If nothing pops up in this thread why don’t you start a specific one asking for help?  Someone will have the answer to your question

Good luck and I hope you get to go on your cruise and have a wonderful time

I'm so sorry to hear your MRI results delgirl.

Sending you our prayers 🙏 that treatment helps you immensely.

When I had my heart attack in December 2019 our insurance cancelled our policy when we told them.

All clear specialist medical travel insurance covered our holiday in Spain 4 weeks after my Heart Attack but I had to get my doctor's clearance first.

Take care.

I have only ever blocked 1 person because he/she kept replying disrespectfully to my posts.

Graham.

I have never blocked anyone. If I don’t like what people say I just pass on by.

There are some that I would consider friends on here who occasionally say things I don’t agree with (and I’m sure that is mutual) but I never feel the need to block them.

Live and let live.

It was someone on the Royal Caribbean forums almost 3 years ago.

Everyone on here are special people.

Hi Delgirl,

There is a company that specialises in holiday insurance for cancer sufferers, but I can't remember the name at the moment. I will have a trawl through the internet to see if any names ring a bell and post here if I find it.

My S I L went through breast cancer and one of her wishes was to see the Northern

lights and see the Artic circle . She actually went and I do remember her saying the

Macmillan support were in invaluable giving her support and actually helping her with

finding suitable travel insurance . I wish Delgirl all the best and as others have said we

will be here whenever she wants a chat or a giggle :classic_love:

It makes you look at those cruises /holidays when we cancel for another year ?? :classic_unsure:

Take care everyone and be good to yourself

It has been a funny old day here, started out with thunderstorms then nice hot sun then a bit of cloud then more sun. We have probably spent more time inside today than the last 2 1/2 weeks. We had a lovely pizza this evening, we had to go out early as by 19:00ish most places are full and there are a lot of restaurants in Puerto del Carmen. We had a lovely sunset tonight, probably sand in the atmosphere.

I imagine the Black Sea and St Petersburg will be off limits for some considerable time!

My Saga cruise there in May is still on - at the moment, but Odessa has been chnaged to Canakkale unsurprisingly.

I wondered how long it would take for things to be changed.

I suspect that lines will change ports but also that some cruisers will also cancel if they are before the final payment.

Good morning all.

Well we woke up to heavy snow, the world is white and the snow is still falling fast. No point in trying to clear the driveway at the moment but I’ll tackle it when it stops. No plans to go anywhere but frost and minus 1 forecast for overnight so if I don’t clear the drive it will freeze solid.

Praying for those in Ukraine, horrible situation.

Stay warm and well all.

Good morning ,hope your all ok . Just having a quick read through the morning
papers headlines and they don't make for good reading for most things. As from
today "just be careful"  is the new rule and hope others do the same .:classic_unsure:
Reading Emma Radacanu’s stalker was  handed restraining order after taking her dad’s
shoe as a souvenir. Emma is said to be relieved but  I bet her dad was hopping mad. :classic_wink:
Other stories are about  the UK floods and war so it's a choice of reading about
UKrain or  Ukraine .Seriously though joking apart my heart goes out to the people
out there in a war no one seems to understand ,so sad and no reason for it .
Everyone take care and be safe :classic_love:

What an awful morning news wise.  My thoughts are with the Ukrainian people.

We visited the beautiful city of Kiev when we did a land tour in USSR in 1988.

It certainly puts into perspective the problems that we personally have.

I am praying for a rapid return to peace Ukraine.

I slipped last night and caught my left side on a table and am suffering a  bit of pain this morning.  David wanted to take me to A&E last night but I didn't think that it was necessary so I am taking co-codamol that I have left over from when I had sciatica.  I don't think that I will be able to lift anything heavy at the food bank today.

Take care everyone.

Morning all, hope everyone is well.

Dry at present, but rain is on it's way and it's blowing a gale out - just for a change🙄

Off out later this morning to meet a friend for coffee and a natter, and if it's dry might take a trip into town.

Sorry to hear about your accident, Josy. Hope you're not in too much pain and recover soon.

Stay safe and take care.

We have a beautiful day here, bright blue sky and lots of sun, I hope it lasts.

Tipping it down in Horley. We are staying in a lovely hotel with an old flying friends funeral later today.  The news is awful.  As i said before the Black sea will be off limits with the Russian fleet there.  Was just wondering when Aeroflot will be banned from europe and USA.
