St Pete Cruiser Posted April 8, 2020 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2020 I noticed today that the Insignia is at dock here in Tampa. To my knowledge, Oceania has never been in Tampa before. Is this to escape the "limelight" of Port Everglades/ Miami or possibly because she was denied entry there?

It is far chea...er...less expensive, for a cruise ship to dock in Tampa. 🤭

Even if Miami had parking space, wouldn't it make sense to park in the less expensive location (e.g., Tampa)?
Rare Essiesmom Posted April 9, 2020 #5 Share Posted April 9, 2020 Miami had ten ships in yesterday, one at a cargo terminal, and Sirena was/is at the end terminal that the Bimini Superfast used to use. Also, Miami is not charging docking fees. EM
