We all love to hear what cruises you are booked on.
 
I post the Bon Voyage threads 7 days before sailing so, to be included in this, you need to post your details here to allow sufficient time to be on the updated Future Cruise Listing.  It’s better to post earlier than later but if it is later please post THREE weeks in advance to make sure it doesn’t get missed.
           
We would also be interested to know if this is your first cruise, your first HAL cruise or if you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary.  Details needed are in the 2nd post of this thread. 
 
Please use REPLY and not QUOTE when posting to this thread. Using 'Quote' makes a very long thread and difficult for others to read.

Hello Jacqui, I guess you can take this one off the books,,,We have not cancelled yet and are waiting for HAL to cancel but we are definitely not going either way!  Will still be drinking a good bottle of Amarone on June 3 but am quite sure it won't taste as good in Welland as it would have tasted on a terrace in Venice

We unfortunately have decided to cancel our Europe cruises 😒.  We are very disappointed but hoping next year we may be able to do this.

We (my mom, sister and I) are scheduled to sail from Boston to Montreal on the ms Amsterdam, leaving July 25th, for 7 days.

 

We are"hanging on" right now, as our final deadline payment isn't until May 25th. But unless we have definitive news that ships will be sailing out of the US and the Canadian ports are open, we will cancel. We are celebrating my moms 84th birthday (hopefully) on this cruise. 

 

Our backup plan is a driving trip from Boston to Montreal, as that can be cancelled much closer to our travel dates without penalty, if the border is open as well as tourist sites, restaurants, etc. Not really optimistic, but I'm not worse off with this plan.

Hi Jacqui

 

In a fit of optimism, we have decided to extend our Nov 11 2020 cruise on the Nieuw Statendam by adding the 10 day Nov 22 Southern Caribbean Seafarer. We also booked a room for our son and his girlfriend - it will be his 30th Birthday! 

 

Here's hoping that cruising will be back to "normal" by then...

Good Morning Jacqui,  I am cancelling the August 22, 2020 Zaandam cruise.  I have little faith that it will happen and I can’t give HAL more money while waiting on refunds etc from the March cancellation.  If ships start sailing I’ll be thrilled to book it again.
