June 14th Freedom of the Seas

Recommended Posts

We are scheduled to board the Freedom of the Seas on June 14th in PR.  Saturday we received a 16 page email with boarding instructions, luggage tags and itinerary.  I am not trying to get a discussion going about this boat sailing or not.  Everyone has an opinion on it and they are all just that "opinions".  I thought this might be interesting information.  If the boat goes we will be on it.  If it doesn't, we will find somewhere else to go on our vacation.  👍

Yup we got our cruise documents, yesterday,  for our June 14 Harmony sailing.  This is SOP for RCI this close to sailing, I am not reading anything into the receiving of these docs.  As of right now the cruise is a go, but I would not hold my breath on this cruise truly happening.  JMHO

Later.....Steve

Everything is automated . I just received a check in notice from the airlines for tomorrow. That flight was cancelled weeks ago.

Archive it for now.

BTW good luck , unless the CDC recinds their decree "no sail" runs until July 24th.

Yep, I got the same email and filed it in my cruise folder within my inbox. Those are definitely automated--it kicked out right on schedule at 49 days out from sail date. I am highly doubtful that it will happen.

Question - "Did they address the requirement for a medical release from a Doctor if over 70 years old?"

Answer - I did not see anything in the docs about this or anything Covid-19 related.  It appears these are the standard Pre-Covid19 docs.
