The Horizon & Zenith!! He was excellent and also cannot remember his name!

Actually initially it was Meridien and Horizon and then Horizon and Zenith.   Last I checked a couple of years ago he was still performing but not on cruise ships.

I definitely did not grow up in Jersey.  🤠   But Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have always been my favorite.

Your taste in music is the same as your taste for waffles.   Actually met him a couple of times, escorted him to a concert.

Pearl Kaufman- I remember her wonderful Piano Conerts on both Millenium ( Transatlantic 2006) and Infinity ( Hawaii 2007).

She started to practice a little in Michaels Club while I was reading there - alone- nobody was around- but I loved Michaels Club in it´s first appearence - and when it was still open for everybody! What an extraordernary experience that was- hearing her play all for myself- LOL. Whe had a nice chat afterwards.

Perry Grant- I know it does not count as music- but he was just great.

I'll second Jordan Peterson and we also enjoyed Gilly & the Girl.  Our favorite headliner was Lyndsey Hamilton.  Saw her several times and love her voice...also a very nice lady.

We see loads of plays every year in Dallas and also broadway and starting going as a 19 year old more than 50 years ago, but one of my best friends never saw a play until Jersey Boys a couple of years ago and he lives in New York area.

Texed- did we not cruise together at one of the above mentioned cruises. I know we met- and talked- but on which cruise- oh my! Greetings anyway!

Yes sir, we did sail together.  I do not remember which ship.  We were on Summit Hawaii cruise that started on December 23, 2006. 😊

For last few years we have done music cruises on Celebrity on summit and infinity and it was really cool to have a musician from one of the groups start playing the piano in Micheals, also got to talk to some there like America and just a few months ago In February we would see John Lodge of the moody blues in Micheals often. (These cruises were all 70’s artists)

Yes, Lindsay Hamilton. I couldn't remember her first name.  The first time we saw her she was pregnant with her first child. The second time she had older kids!

I don't remember his name, but we saw him play the piano on two cruises.  He was originally from China and won a national competition there, went on to Juilard and stayed in the USA.   He was fantastic.

But Jayne is now playing for the old folks in Florida retirement centres.  (sorry, was when I last heard.)

We are some of the "old folks" who had the pleasure of seeing her at our community club house.  She was just as good...if not better than the many wonderful times we've seen her on cruises.

Not usually on Celebrity, as he's the pianist on RCL ships, Lyndon Davies (an acquaintance of mine) is hugely popular fleet wide and I'd love for him to cross over a few tours to Celebrity

Here's his Corona Virus Song, written and preformed by a few fellow crew  onboard ship somewhere in the Caribbean

Brooks Aehron - concert pianist from England.

Brooks was/is outstanding - both in his musical performance and in his interesting commentaries regarding the pieces being played.

One of Brooks' most interesting comments concerned the creation of Rhapsody in Blue - apparently George Gershwin had committed to writing and performing a new composition in a major concert hall, but had entirely forgotten about it until seeing an advertisement in Variety stating that he would be performing a new work two weeks later.  Hence one of his most important pieces was written in less than two weeks!
