It is a rubber plantation, but not in Malaysia and not Sandakan

Well I am going to hit the rack and rather than hold up the game I'll pass to someone else.

The picture is of The St. Julien Canadian Memorial at Vancouver Corner near Ypres Belgium. It commemorates the actions of the Canadians during the first gas attack of the Great War. I had a friend who was in the RCN during the 2nd World War and served in a landing ship at Gold Beach for D-Day and 6 weeks after. His father was awarded the Military Medal for his actions during the gas attack at Vancouver Corner.

Someone else post something cool, I will be back after work tomorrow.
