I don’t think Australia has a promenade deck.

We have many kms of beaches, sort of a big walk around promenade deck.  Just avoid Greenmount on the Goldy, Noah's Arks about.

Tragic attack on a surfer, RIP.

When I working in the Kimberleys, but all around the top half, beaches were mostly avoided.

BIG crocs and people don’t mix.

Correct. The water is the territory of the inhabitants, be they Crocs or Noahs or anything else in there.  My Grand daughter aka The Vet, in Townsville at Uni, won't go in the water, for fear of those deadly jelly fish and other nasties in the sea up there, plus crocs. They have a pool in the apartment complex, that will do, no nasties.

No I don't think so.... LOL   when we stay in Stanley Tas.... we generally walk up and around the nut every second day..... which is sort of like a promenade deck......  ( but with a very steep cimb at the start ) I watch the chair lift.... and one when i am old i might try it...

Cheers Don
