brenderlou Posted August 25, 2020 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Can I do a back to back with one person not doing 1 part of the back to back? So can we have a cabin for 3 for the entire cruise and only 2 in the cabin for the first part? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
firefly333 Posted August 25, 2020 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2020 (edited) Probably though some cabins sometimes require 3 to book. I heard though aft balconys on liberty deck 7 you have to put in 3 for them to come up. I'd get my ta to do it. BND Posted August 25, 2020 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Well, since they are booked as two separate cruises, the only way to know is to try to book them that way. Either with a TA or call RCI to book. I wouldn't do it online. Getting the same cabin is purely based on availability and part of that is how many the cabin can hold. DH and I have booked cabins that hold more than two several times (pullman, sofa beds) with no issue.
lakelorain Posted August 25, 2020 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Your travel agent can arrange it for you. We've done 2 to 3 and 2 to 1 with no problems.
Merion_Mom Posted August 25, 2020 #5 Share Posted August 25, 2020 The fact that they are consecutive cruises won't have any effect on the number of passengers, but cabin capacity may.
Ken at the beach Posted August 25, 2020 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2020 Many who have wanted the same cabin bad enough have been willing to pay for a “phantom” 3rd guest And get the port fees and taxes refunded when they are a no show. This strategy works great if you are sailing when it is a kids sail free. Have the “phantom” third guest be under 13 and you are not out anything.
