NCL Star 2 bdr Suite w / Balcony

I have a question concerning the 2 bedroom suite on NCL star. Would the 2nd bedroom bed be adequate for one adult.  We are booked on the April 16d 2021 to Southampton UK from NYC.

would like to take mom with but hard to tell from pics what comfort level the 2nd offers.  About the same price can get 2 mini suites

the 2 bedroom suite would be more than adequate. i book this type of cabin whenever our grandson and one of his friends travel with us.  also, if there is only 3 of you, you will be paying the cost of 2 people for the other mini suite.

 

finally, your suite comes with the concierge, butler, priority boarding etc. go for the suite. worse case scenario, pull out the sofa inthe main room. my wife sleeps there when i snore to loudly.

I have stayed in the 2nd bedroom multiple times.  Not very large, but adequate for 1 adult.  Also, you have the living room for during the day, so not confined to the small room except at night.

Other consideration if you are doing a TA is do for the 2BR as you get suite benefits but not with the minis.  Plus the mom would have to pay single supplement if she is the only person in the mini.

Also with the suite you get Breakfast and Lunch at Cagney's-Moderno -

Reserved seating in the Theatre -

Priority in boarding and leaving the ship -

And the Butler service for dining in-suite.

 

Oh and the 2nd bedroom has its own bath shower and commode - nice !

Our adult son loved the 2nd bedroom. We loved the master and the huge bathroom. Absolutely my favorite cabin.
