❓ Is there something wrong with this picture ❓

We are scheduled for Allure on the 29th of November and looking at travel advisories from the Department of State, Honduras is a DO NO GO THERE, while Mexico is basically, GO ONLY IF YOU HAVE TO.  Both very discouraging.

We are booked to be on Allure Nov 15. I am willing to wear a mask to get on board, but my DH is not happy about that. Our adult son said he is willing to sacrifice the time to go with me! 😜

If cancelled, we will be disappointed but okay. I really hope to go, though.

Seriously? "What's wrong with this picture?" is an American idiom that points out a problem -- not really sure if you're just poking fun at the title or really looking for a picture.  🤪

Here it is:

In my case, just poking fun. I’m sure  @twangster was doing the same. No harm meant.

I see the picture now. 😇

November cruises will be canceled in short order. I want them to begin but I don't see it happening. The only US ports that have a chance at opening is FL. No Caribbean country is taking cruise ships currently. When a port does open, they will get to name their price and requirements. Cozumel will not take 6 ships per day even half capacity. The Bahamas may make it a requirement to port in Nassau to use the private islands.

When cruising does start, I see a very small number of ships because only so many will be permitted to port. Since it is a requirement to port in a foreign country sailing from the US, there are only so many that will be able to go. That begs the question which ships in each line will generate the best revenue with the least amount of expense. I am guessing 3 and 4-night cruises, no B2B cruisers, and 50% capacity.
