Rare CineGraphic Posted September 28, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2020 We cancelled our HAL cruise last week via email with our TA, because we found a much better deal with Princess, and our deposit was back on our credit card today. Initially, I was told that it might take 2 billing cycles, but I'm glad that wasn't the case.

It's the "abnormal" cancellations initiated by the cruiselines that are so delayed as they are manually processed. I'm seeing this with all the cruise lines, not just HAL. That said HAL is still one of the slowest to pay out refunds on the involuntary cancels.
