DatawCruiser Posted January 28, 2021 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2021 I have a couple of cruises booked on the Splendor, and I am wondering what the process is for signing up for these classes. Also, what is the cost for each class? Thanks in advance.
Bellaggio Cruisers Posted January 28, 2021 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2021 We have enjoyed the culinary classes in the past on Explorer. It was about $89 per person for one class. It lasted about 2 hours. We signed up on the RSSC website, where shore excursions and dining is. I am not sure if it will offered in the near future because of covid. Rare ronrick1943 Posted January 29, 2021 #3 Share Posted January 29, 2021 I think they still may do the classes--they will just leave one space empty between each station.
Rare wishIweretravelling Posted January 29, 2021 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2021 They'll also need to conduct it a bit differently. They can't have the class gather up front to watch the instructor. Video screens could solve that.
wcsdkqh Posted January 29, 2021 #5 Share Posted January 29, 2021 I would suggest that if proof of vaccination is required to be onboard (as is likely), then none of these guesses about what life on the ship will be applicable.

Agree...I hope that vaccines will be required in order to board.

Until the FDA officially approves the Vax, they probably won't require it. For instance now it is voluntary for medical workers because of the liability to the "mandating agency or firm." If someone has an adverse reaction or death it would be a big issue. The FDA is allowing Vax now as a trial but hasn't fully approved it yet and it could be a while. Not sure what the status is in the EU.

It really is a nice way to spend two hours. I'm sure they will find a way--after all it's additional revenue for them.
