Of course. That has already been stated in reports about the vaccines.

That recommendation is not specific to cruise ships.

Actually there is a new CDC order that is specific to cruise ships.

I am happy about the vaccine requirement.  Hate the idea of having to mask and socially distance, which may - for the time being - keep us from sailing AQSC.  Not that I don't think those are necessary measures, but I don't want to go on vacation, spending a bunch of money, and be uncomfortable trying to avoid people.  The AQSC boats are pretty small.

Thanks. The continued wearing of masks is being recommended in general after getting the vaccine, not just cruise ships.

I think this is a great idea.  We just got our first dose this week.  Our cruise isn't until September.  It's hard to say by then what the situation will be.  I certainly don't mind wearing a mask off the ship, but if everyone onboard is vaccinated, maybe we can dispense with them onboard?

Not surprised and I think its a good idea.

Coincidently, my wife and I just got our first dose of Moderna this morning.

Since it is not a permanent vaccination, does this mean it will be required year after year?

None of us know the answer to that.

I just know we will be ready for our cruise later this year - with vaccination.

Next year is next year and if a "booster" vaccination is needed, I'll get one.
