Next day we caught the ferry to Sorrento where I enjoyed a fabulous pasta meal made from bike tyre inner tubes (kidding - it really was lovely) before the day's excertions (and possibly a boatload of lunchtime wine) caught up with one member of our party who had a good snooze on the ferry back. Great photos, brings back many memories. Love Amalfi coast, just fab!! Stayed in Sorrento a couple of times on holiday, love it there at night eating out in little squares that are tucked away Michelle

Bar Nilo is a shrine to the footballer Maradona and the signage on the station one of the most confusing I have ever come across. Fantastic selection of photos. We have sailed into Naples several times. The traffic is scary but once you get to the centre up the hill it is fine. We have walked up lots of the side streets behind the main shopping street and bought some fabulous photo frames as well as other niknaks. The motor scooters zoom around here but a lot of people live up here. Graham.

Aulanis Posted March 3, 2021 #458 Share Posted March 3, 2021 WE have not been to Corsica or Valencia neither by land nor sea, so looking forward to see what is there. These places together with Sardinia were near the top of our list for 2020 :(

Ardennais Posted March 3, 2021 #460 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Ajaccio is indeed a lovely place. Just one visit for us but would love to go again.
Izzywiz Posted March 3, 2021 #461 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Ajaccio looks lovely and we would live to visit sometime. Although we haven't been to Ajaccio, we have been to Propriano, Corsica, on a Thomson cruise in 2010 and thought it was very pretty. I could only find these 2 pictures..

Can I ask, how do you insert a gap between your photos?
Izzywiz Posted March 3, 2021 #464 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Hi Ardennais, I insert all the photographs first and then scroll up to the bottom of the first photo where I click on the right side and then press my enter key twice. I then move my cursor down to the bottom of the next picture and repeat clicking the enter key. Sometimes I insert one picture and then click on the bottom corner twice to create a gap before either typing in a comment or inserting the next picture. Sorry if this isn't very clear but it's easy to do once you know how but tricky to explain the process .🤔
purplesea Posted March 3, 2021 #465 Share Posted March 3, 2021 On our visit to Corsica in 2009 we didn't stay in town long as the skies turned very black, so we headed back to the ship. We got back before the rains started and sailed to our next port of call in a force 10 gale.

SeaJane Posted March 3, 2021 #467 Share Posted March 3, 2021 We went to Ajaccio in May 2019. We should have been in Propriano, but the sea was too rough to tender there so we diverted.

If you go back any time give it a try. It's nothing like the hard horrid stuff we get here. They have different varieties and flavours, they will let you sample them first and it's so soft they cut pieces off for you with scissors. This then puts thumbnails of the pics at the bottom of the post. I then click on the + bottom left of the thumbnail ( this inserts the pic into the post ). I then press enter twice which inserts 2 lines below. repeat. Maybe try with 3 or 4 pics and see what it looks like - you can always edit and add more to that post if it is working ok. Or you can load all then preview it then go back to edit any error before posting

We were unable to get back onboard at Civitacchia for several hours- quite exciting!
