Can I book on the US site from the UK?

I'm looking at a 2022 cruise, and the price on the US site is a £1000 cheaper than the UK site. Can I book from the US site or will I need to provide a US address and also lose any rights/policies?

Thanks 🙂

Yes you will need a US address and yes you would lose the UK booking protections.

Whilst you can’t booking directly with RC you can book with many US TA’s. I’m from the UK and do it all the time with no US address needed.

The US for me has more favourable booking conditions eg price drops.

I’ve also used European TA’s. For me it’s whoever has the best price

Yes you can book directly on RCI USA site you will need a USA address. Some have reported using a friend’s address; as nothing is sent by post.

Personally I use a USA TA and never have any issues.  No you don’t have the “security” of ABTA and you also have to watch out for fx fluctuations, but for a £1000 saving that’s a risk I’d happily take.
There is also a German agency that has good prices.

We’ve had good experiences also with a USA travel agent but our las two cruises for some unknown reason were more expensive than booking direct with RCG.

I booked direct with Royal Caribbean in the US going through clubroyale as I had a voucher from MYvegas to use. My cruise planner is in dollars and i saved around $300 compared to UK site.

As I had to ring them it was a Canadian number  I used Skype which was able to use there toll free number.

We have used more than one US agency over the years , obviously not allowed to name them on here , never ever had to provide a USA address.
We have used online ones and one where we had to phone to pay the deposit after e.mail exchanges confirming rate and cabin. We have never had any issues whatsoever but the main thing to be wary of is fluctuations in exchange rates when booking so far in advance but if it is a massive difference is worth the risk , make sure you book a refundable deposit rate so you can watch the UK pricing too.
We have also used the German agent which is linked to EU pricing.

We re UK based and cruised Disney Cruise Line for many years when the kids were younger. We used a specialist US travel agent who do a lot of Disney Cruise bookings but they also book RCL. We booked with them for Alaska 2022, price was cheaper and we got some OBC. Cant name them here but google is your friend.
