Last Minute Antarctic Bookings

Well, yes and no.  The big ships do sail-by's as the treaty won't allow any ship with more then 500 (I think that's the right #) pax to disembark. When we went it was on Hurtigruten's Midnatsol with 400 pax and we got to go ashore and out in zodiacs. As far as the OPs question I have no idea.

The 3 times that I was in Ushuaia, there were several travel agencies on the main street that advertised last minute Antarctica cruise.  I did not check them out but it appears that the last minute cruises are available.  I have no idea what your choices are, how long you may have to wait to get a spot and how much you will save however.

 

You might try to Google the travel agencies if you can find them and see what is available.
