What do you take, even though it’s provided?

Clean up is a doddle, especially with the paper filters supplied. If you look about 3 mins 40sec into the vid, he simply ejects it from the press. I prefer to use about 50 ml/gr of water, just off the boil and infuse for 90 secs from 10 gr of coffee. For really fresh coffee, Google Hasbean Coffee and also Rave Coffee.

I rate Hasbean too

I've started a check list for hols and there's 2 vital items that I forgot to take last time.

The first is those large vacuum bags for clothes. They do crease clothes, so they're used for the return trip when suitcase is bulging over. Cabin steward always happy to provide a Hoover.

Second is a tub of baking powder. It's alkaline, so a pinch on a toothbrush after meals, neutralises acid in food. If you try this at home, you'll never have gum probs again. If you're nervous about carrying white powder, no worries, Arm & Hammer do it in toothpaste format (Poundland etc).
