5 day Florida cruise

Looking for opinions on the best 5 day Florida departure cruise to use my jackpot casino free suite offer on. 

Next fall into winter would be ideal.

We've been on the pride 4 times to the Bahamas and Bermuda it's time to change it up.

Halifax, etc. out of Manhattan is a great short cruise.  Take selfies with the Statue of Liberty as you sail by (twice!)

Tampa goes to mahogany bay and cozumel. Do you have a port preference? Beach port?

Next fall into winter? Not sure if you mean fall 2021 or 2022?

I see the new Celebration on a 5 day from Miami on 1/3/2023 to Grand Turk and Amber Cove. This coming fall/winter shows a lot of choices, too. Myself, I wouldn't want one of the old ships. I'd probably be looking at Conquest class or newer.

Whatever is easiest really. I know I can fly nonstop to Orlando for a decent price. But I have no clue what is the closest airport to the actual cruise ships. Spending a day at the beach before cruising isn't a terrible idea either.

Fall 2022. I think the deal is for sailings after June 2022

Sweet, you could snag a free suite on Celebration. Bet you'd be the first one on your block?

i guess that would be if it pops up as one of your available choices.

I'll have to look into that one.. I was thinking of booking soon though idk how many people got this deal.. kind of figured they were handing them out like candy.

I flew into tampa and used a fancy suite hotel with airport shuttle. Same price for a really fancy airport hotel as one near the port that wasnt as nice. Lol several hotels I could walk to, one had a good happy hour and decent priced drinks and wings on sale. I love wings. Treasure island and some close beaches right up the shore. Lovely white sand beaches. 

 

Easy to fly into tampa. ..to me miami is a zoo. I doubt I'd fly in for a 5 day.

Seems there have been a lot of casino offers. I'd imagine they have system to maintain a certain number of bookings so everything is sold by sail date.

If you are flying into Orlando then the closest port is Port Canaveral. Carnival offers shorter cruises from this port as well as longer ones. There are different ships based on the dates.

Sounds like a pretty damn good option to me  lol beer wings and the beach. We looked into Tampa briefly but we're unsure on cruising on the Paradise. I'll have to see what other ships they have.

I love Cocoa Beach. Beautiful and wide beach not far from PC. Rental car prices are a killer right now but that should be fine by your dates.

Tampa does not have any new ships, they can’t sail under the Sunshine Skyway bridge.

The end of season Canada cruises would be great for fall foliage if they have any scheduled.

The Spirit Class ships can also sail from Tampa.  That would include Spirit, Miracle, Pride and Legend.  Those ships, when sailing out of Tampa, are always doing 7 day itineraries however.  Tampa's 'short cruise' ship has always been a Fantasy Class.

I agree.  This would be my only choice.  Why would you refuse a 5 day cruise on the newest ship in the fleet?

I’d pass on this itinerary. Having both Grand Turk and Amber Cove is redundant. The port areas are pretty much identical except Grand Turk has a beach and the options beyond the port area are pretty limited. Although the beach in Grand Turk is nice, I’d prefer to go to the beach at home and enjoy a better cruise port.
