Latitudes rewards

Looking for someone with a better memory than mine on our latitudes rewards.

For Platinum and up we have always got a free bottle of wine with Bistro or Cagneys dinner. Did we also, at one time, get another bottle with the other free dinner? And did this at one time also come with Gold level?

So miss the free box of Godiva chocolates! So what else have we lost over the years?

Only one bottle of free wine, and you can choose if you would like to have it with dinner in Cagney's or Le Bistro. And as far as I remember, the Latitude dinners only came with the Platinum status and not with Gold status.

I am sure that we never got two bottles of wine with the dinners.

If you were a couple who were both platinum then yes, you did get a bottle of wine with both meals.

 

The reason is that it used to be just one meal for two with wine, but it was per person rather than per room as it is now. Therefore, two platinums would get two meals for two, both with wine.

 

Meals came with platinum status, not gold.

Perhaps the bottle of wine perk is confused with every Latitude member getting 

a complimentary bottle of "Sparkling (Faux-Bubbly) Wine"

instead of two half litre bottles of water each you get a carton of water !

 

Now enjoy the unique pleasure of 1 (cardboard) carton of water instead of that bottle(s).

Just you wait - box wine is coming - look for the prime vintage date of circa 2020 for

best used by date.

Imagine the prestige of carrying that box wine back to your cabin -

unlike the bottle napkin wrapped with two glasses in hand !
