Does anyone know how this works?

Example:

2 bottles of wine - do you choose the wine? Is there a set selection?  How do you receive this wine?

Mini Frig daily replinshment - Do you choose what is in frig?  do they just refill what they want?  Can you choose the beverages stocked?

I know this is new but hope perhaps someone is in the know..................

When we had this it is just 2 -375ml bottles of wine, we wanted red so we had La Crema Merlot which was very good.  The beer was Heineken but not keen on beer so they took it out.  There was small bottles of vodka, gin & rum. Plus munchies.  Hope this helps.  Not sure I would do it again as we already had the Premium package so we could just go to any bar & get what we wanted.

Drinks & more work for 7 and shorter cruises. Mini bar is limited. One small wine of red and white. Decent wine. The 2 bottles per person delivered to the room was low end. Wine tasting was so so. My husband enjoyed the replenished Pringles 😃. Enjoyed the large bottle of Evian and the $50 casino credit per person was fun. Both people in the cabin have  to have the Drinks and More package to have it replenished daily.

Husband and I both purchased the Drinks & More package for our June 5 Millennium sailing (out of St. Maarten).

Pringles were not available (we were told that the ship was unable to acquire them during COVID).

Included Kind bars (pretty good, with cranberries and almonds) which were readily replenished.

Started with two cans of regular coke, two 2 cans of diet coke,  two bottles of beer (Heineken, I believe), and two bottle of Evian water. We were told we were limited to those brands/types.

Once our stateroom attendant figured out that we did not want diet coke or the Heineken's, he brought extras of the regular coke and the waters.

No mini's of alcohol.

The mini-bar list in general was scaled back (again, attributed to COVID). Not sure what 'normal' times would have resulted in.

For the casino credit, you go to the cashier in the casino who looks up your room and then moves the credit to the room key.

They were not having wine tastings this cruise (again, due to COVID), so they did the mini-martini presentation instead. Actually enjoyed that, so I thought it as a replacement was fine. But if you are looking forward to a wine tasting, know it might not happen until things get back more back to normal.

We expected 2 bottles of wine per person (both of us had to get the package for the mini-bar inclusion, so we thought we'd have 4 bottles of wine between us). We learned that it was 2 bottles per room, whether one or both of us bought the package. Bottles were in the room upon arrival. Reservado Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Chile & Bentiterre Tino Grigio Delle Venezie 2016 Italy.

Had I known the mini-bar would be so limited (no mini's of vodka, no US-domestic beers, only coke or diet coke), I would not have done it. It was not worth it to us for what we got. We could easily have brought cans of soda and bottles of water back from the bars/restaurants (we had the premium drinks package, but had hoped for convenience with some mixed drinks and plain-Jane beers while in the room).

Cheers!

My mini bar was not nearly as nice as yours.

Mine had:

2 Hieneken

4 mini Tito Vodka

1 small bottle of red wine and white wine

2 diet and regular Coke

2 kind bars

2 large glass bottles of water

In the room there was a large bottle of red and white wine.

Casino credit is $50 per person.

Wine tasting I was never invited to.

Overall, I would not buy the package again.

😱 I was on this sailing and was told the first wine tasting was at max capacity and there would be another one on the 2nd sea day (which I was never invited to).  I would have loved the mini martinis.

Interesting how the stateroom attendants handle things differently. I was also told no Pringles, but I did have mini Vodkas. But on the other hand, I could not switch my regular Coke for Diet Coke.

When we did it, the room steward was not familiar with it, so  I think he just left what was in it.  The wine tasting was way over crowded so wasn’t near as good as the fist time we tried the World wine tour, so not sure we would do it again either and we usually upgrade to the Premium package anyway.

We did this on our last cruise, Edge February 2020.  We did not use it to our advantage so with the extra onboard credit for our upcoming cruise on Reflection I went to sign up again.   Again, I blame no one but myself as what I ended up doing was brining water and soda from the lounge back to the room, forgetting that the mini bar and contents were included.  Since we have an aft corner suite on Reflection I am sure this is going to save us (well me) a lot of walking when we want a drink.

On a side note, unfortunately Celebrity’s website is not processing this correctly.  My wife and I are in a Sky Suite and both have the premium drink package as part of the suite guest perks.  On the Web site I can upgrade my premium package for $9.00 per day.  However the website is not recognizing my wife as having the premium package and wants me to pay the full price for her.

I have asked our TA to work it out with Celebrity.

p.s.  I checked our March 2022 booking on Silhouette where we again have an aft corner suite, and same issue.  I can upgrade mine but not hers.

I would have loved having the mini vodkas included. Interesting that we got different stories about the wine tastings. It took several visits to the concierge before they offered the mini-martini flight thing as a replacement.

Wasn't the nearly-empty ship fabulous that week! I will have a hard time going back to full sailing now!

Wondering if anyone on the recent Edge silings had this package and what bottles of wine were offered. FYI I called Celebrity and she told me two bottles of wine per person who selects the package and there were 160 to choose from. Only certain vintages were an upcharge. Would love to hear more experiences. We sail in September.

Did this in Jan  2020

2 large bottles of red wine between us - took 4 days to get it swapped for white ( after 3 trips to guest relations)

Coke, diet Coke, tito vodka, water, lager, small bottles red & white wine, pringles ( were only replaced once) kind bars (were never replaced)Could only swap casino credit for play chips - husband couldn't use it to play in the texas holdem tournaments .

During 11 days we had 2 different stewards - each time they didn't know about drinks & more & despite us explaining / showing info they still refused to accept mini bar was included & each time it took 2 days to get it sorted out. We enjoyed the wine tasting .

I do not know who told you that you could choose the two bottles of wine provided in the Drinks or More package but everything I have read and my personal experience has been those are not changeable.
I hope you have not been led astray.
