DGNewton Posted June 24, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 24, 2021 We are sailing in July and hope there is an adult pool only on the aft Lido Deck. Due to Covid-19 I hope no children are allowed in this pool or area. Just taking every precaution on this trip. Anyone know anything on this? tallnthensome Posted June 24, 2021 #2 Share Posted June 24, 2021 Don’t count on that but don’t count on but a handful of kids on board most likely either. If it wasn’t adults only before it won’t be now.

Idk if you mean the whole aft area or just by the pool area. In the past the pool has been like 16 or 18 and up. If the child looked close I've never seen them ask, just small kids couldnt be there. But there are food venues back there and soft serve ice cream so of course there are children wandering around back there. Just the pool itself was off limits. ... sometimes enforced. Who knows now. I expect a lot fewer children on these cruises at first.

From Carnival FAQ: Swimming pool water is typically seawater. Additional requirements must be followed to maintain whirlpool and swimming pool sanitation. As per USPH, Chlorine levels need to be between 3-10mg.
