What is the capacity, so we can figure out the percentage of passengers sailing.

  • 133,500GROSS
    TONNAGE
  • 3,960GUEST
    CAPACITY
  • 1,055LENGTH
    IN FEET
  • 1,450ONBOARD

Now my calculator says 73+%. I presume the earlier figure I saw included crew in capacity. Now that look like aiming for 75%.

Copied from the Carnival website.  So I think they are at 73%.

You also have to include crew population which is 1,430 to get actual, total capacity.

Fun times.  Must pick up at guest services.  Kept behind the desk

Do you know if you can pick one up in the evening for the next day or do you have to wait until the day of?  I love having the Fun Times on the app, but am really bummed about not having a full copy,  It is one of the things I keep from each cruise.  Plus, I love selecting everything I am thinking about then drilling down.

Also, have to say not happy about having to use my phone for everything that was previously on paper.  And, my Dad has cruised with us and only has a flip phone.  I hope this is only temporary or an option.  I like not having my phone out during dinner.

not 💯 sure why they got rid of the casino bar. Maybe to cut down on the smoke.  It’s actually much more bearable on the non smoking side

Disclosure: Not a smoker, but it doesn't bother me. I cruise with one.

When we sailed on Vista, we immediately could tell that they couldn't keep the smoke in the casino. We never noticed it on any other ship class of theirs. It was surely an engineering or design problem. Much of the problem may have been the bar open to the floor above. The moving/removing of the casino bars may have been in the plans for some time.

I’ll see if they provide the fun times the night before.  It’s a cruise ritual for me as well, to get the schedule the night before and plan my day.  Quite frankly, I’ve been lost today until we picked one up.  I have cruise FOMO - fear of missing out 😆

Probably the best explanation I have seen yet.  First time on the Horizon, but the casino is remarkably less smoky than other ships.
