Need Help with Cabin Selection on the Equinox

I am booking a 1A Veranda on deck 9 or deck 8.

Which cabins have the largest balconies; the bump out cabins or the ones on the slant?

I think I read that some of the slant cabins have a larger balcony.  If so, which ones?

Always looking for recommendations.

Slant...by far.  For example, deck 9, 9192 and 9155 are very large..I have stayed in 9192.

The 4 on the slant, both facing forward & aft, have the larger balconies.  The 1st & 3rd have the larger of them.

The 1A cabins are our favourites and we always try to book one. Fantastic location and larger than normal verandas.

 

These are the cabins with the larger verandas located midship on deck 8 and 9.  The ones in red are on the front slant of the bump out and we prefer these as we can see forward and out but really we would be happy with any of them.

 

Deck 8 Starboard: 8224, 8226, 8228, 8230, 8252, 8254, 8256, 8258

Deck 8 Port: 8251, 8253, 8255, 8257, 8279, 8281, 8283, 8285

 

Deck 9 Starboard: 9264, 926, 9268, 9270

Deck 9 Port: 9207, 9209, 9211, 9215

Great advice given above.  I will just add for others who might be reading this thread that the counting starts from the straight part of the hump (for both forward and aft-facing cabins on the slant).  
 

If you can’t find a 1A that you want, you might consider a C2 on the slant of the hump on Decks 9 and 10.

Glad to read the info here, booked in 8279 on Equinox for the August 27, 2021 sailing.  I booked directly with Celebrity Blue Chip Club, didn’t realize what a sweet location this was until I looked at the deck plan and read the comments!

We really like the slant concierge cabins on deck 12. 2105, 2106, 2107, 2108. Great location right out to the pool and one deck up to the buffet. Easy to bring food back to the cabin.

Same here, I love being so close to the pool. We’ve stayed in 2106 several times and I just booked it today for an Equinox cruise!

Or if you are interested in Aqua, there are forward facing slants on deck 11; but if you want to avoid the wind while sailing forward, check out cabin 1552 which also has the extra large balcony.

[OT-Miami]

Here’s a photo of the very spacious balcony for cabin 9192 on Equinox. We had a small table, 2 chairs & 2 loungers with room to spare.  Highly recommended 😁
