I cant wait for JiJis. I am so so on steak and dont eat italian so looks like quite a few nights at JiJis lol. Glad you enjoyed it. Have you tried the lobster rolls at sea shack. Was there a lot of lobster, enough for a meal? $13 or $15 I forget. .. but it's on my list. Did you try the pork belly appetizer at JiJis?  Was it cooked how you like.

Pork belly was delicious.  And I highly recommend the Bloody Mary from Pig and Anchor.

Back in Miami and woke up to a beautiful view.

We had so much fun surprising our cabin steward with this.  She was very good and helped us to have a wonderful cruise.

There was something going on.  All of the shops, other than Cherry on Top, were closed yesterday.  And the last sea day is usually busy in the shops.  Rumor is that some of the shop’s sales people came down sick.  Several employees told me the crew is randomly tested for COVID and they keep getting a few positives.  Also, if a crew member goes to the infirmary, they are quarantined for a few days.

Island time utube went over it too. Similar to what was posted on here.

 

Some crew was transferred from another ship who had to be quarantined and in additional some employees from the onboard shops said they didnt feel well so they too were quarantined and the shops closed down. There have been no confirmations of positive tests. Let's not get rumors started. Will only hurt future cruises.

Priority debarkation was great. We met in the Reflections restaurant at 7:30 this morning, and got the go ahead to leave at 7:45.  Used the facial recognition to skip showing our passports. Got our luggage and were in the car at 7:58.  The Port of Miami did a good job.  Luggage now comes out on a carousel, just like the airports.

Forgot to mention the supply chain issues.  The ship ran out of Heinekens on day two and Dos Equis on day seven.  The casino ran out of limes, so there were no Mojitos on Saturday.  Hey, we knew there would be some issues and in the scheme of things, these were minor annoyances.

The Horizon had four comedians onboard and had a ton of shows.  On Thursday, there were three or four shows.  The comedians were all funny.  We really enjoyed Manny Oliveira, though a fellow guest aptly called him a “dirty old man.”  However, he is a great at improv and had me cracking up last night.  Percy Crews 2 was hysterical.

I am eager to see the comedy shows again.  We aren't easily offended, so we like to see the family and adult shows.

You will enjoy it.  We want to two shows on several nights.  They even had one at 2:30 in the afternoon.  I think they have to work harder at the family shows.

Thanks for reading.  I bet you will have a great cruise.  We loved the Horizon. Not too big, not too small.  Loved the decor and the overall fun vibe.

Oh no I had trying a mojito on my lost to try. They cant always make them before either. Have never had one. I better order mine early in the cruise. See if I like them. No idea.

 Very welcome.  The entertainment did not wear masks while performing.  If they went into to audience, they did.
