HAL Navigator App - Do We Have to Download It?

I had to uninstall and download yet again.   Making a tiny bit of progress.  Now, when I click on Dining, it comes to the page where I "should" be able to see menus.  But nothing happens when I click on them.

Should the OBC that came with my casino fare show up in my account?  Because it doesn't.

100 days until I sail, so I'm sure things will improve over the next 3 months.  Fingers crossed!

New version of Navigator app available today that fixed my errors that had persisted for four days.

FWIW my HAL PCC said that boarding passes will be provided via the Navigator app which makes it necessary to download.  Until I am close to cruising day in November, I am unable to verify this.

Where did you find an updated version? Only one in the App Store, which is two weeks old.

My Android version shows the current version as Aug 4th, version 3.4.2.  I didn't check the Play Store date but rather kept downloading versions until one worked.

The previous version from July did not work.

I'm great with apps but cannot find the place in Navigator to upload my photo ahead of time to make check in go smoothly.  Can someone please point me in the right direction?

From another thread, I saw this option does not open until 7 days prior to cruising.

That is correct. The photo icon appeared about one week before departure and will appear here.

Also I had a lot of issues initially and emailed the navigator support folks. They did something on the back end with my account and then had me uninstall and reinstall and all of a sudden things appeared normally. If having issues I suggest reaching out well in advance as the response time is very slow.

I’m sailing in about a week (Aug 22 Eurodam out of Athens) and I was able to print my boarding pass from my home computer. It also shows up in my navigator app ‘wallet’ but I do like to have the paper copy just in case. Like a lot of you, I don’t use my phone on cruises (except as a camera) but I did download the app as suggested. Can’t hurt to have it available even if I don’t actually use it much/at all

We contacted the navigator support and our login problem was fixed by them within a day, so they are very helpful.

Totally agree, they were slow at first but picked up speed a lot once ships started sailing again. Also a lot of the problems disappear once you get onboard.

Agree, but we liked to have it over with before cruise, especially to have no trouble in uploading the security pictures.
