Not crowded (yay).  Guessing it’s roughly 40%-50% capacity??????  Give or take 10%???????  ½ the time I’m the only one in the elevators.

I know this isn’t going to last.  Enjoying it while it lasts, though.

Enjoying your live review - thank you.

Don't forget to book your next Cruise while onboard!  😉🤣

What to pack?

Mentioned before, I pack a roll aboard that can fit in the overheads and a backpack.  Aside from clothes (as you can see in the closet of my cabin), undergarments, shorts, swim trunks, sandals, tennis shoes, socks and Docksiders (except when I forget them), I pack my iPad, which I use for reading, catching up on the news (rarely while I cruise) and posting here, my iPhone and my ear buds.

This is my closest.  Pack light…Pack right!

Headed to make a casino donation last night. Was up about $400 playing craps.  Should have left…didn’t.  Got greedy…stayed too late.  Ended up down about $150 for the night.

Sea Day today….will park my derrière here……

Capt’n Kate just said Grace is a tropical depression, downgraded from a storm.  Yesterday was no biggy.  We rocked a bit, but it really didn’t affect much except for me not being able to hit the pool.  Well, I guess I could have stayed in the pool while the wind and the rain hit, but people would have pointed, stared and laughed.  I suffer through way too much of that at home.  Don’t need that on the ship.

Beautiful day!

Carpe Diem!

Mentioned previously, I wanted my cabin to be Forward this cruise.  That way, I’m closer to Luminae, the Retreat Lounge, the Retreat Pool and Retreat Bar.  As such, I’m relatively close to this.  It’s actually right next door to another cabin at the end of the aisle.  Anyone know what part of the bridge this is?

I see a plant and a spot light.  I’m hoping there’s some sort of hidden 50 cal turret hidden there somewhere (OK, I made that last part up).

BTW…I haven’t seen anyone on either side of my cabin.  I think I’m down this end of the aisle alone.  Wonder if I’ve somehow angered some one from the last cruise?

Hi graphicguy, just started following your Edge live thread today. I have friends onboard, if you meet Daniel and Larry in Luminea or Eden please tell them hello from Mark. Enjoy the rest of the voyage.

Thanks!  Will do!

CC has been weird!  Lost a bunch of posts today, plus the site said I was logged in as someone else!  🤷‍♂️

POOL-CASINO…..both were fun.  Won $175 at Black Jack.  Still down for the week.  But, only a little.  Plus, been playing with with OBC.  So, not really down anything!

Went to Captain’s Club soirée!  Great event.

Captain Kate was sincerely happy to be at the event it seemed to me.  Said Celebrity is family, and promised to tray us as such.  She is a beacon of light for Celebrity.  Fun facts…

-as previously reported, there are about 1,000 crew and 1,100 passengers on board.  Max crew is 1,300.  Max passengers are 2,800.  At the lowest point during shutdown, EDGE had only 200 crew on board.  And, there was one lone horticulturist on board to take care of over 800 exotic plants.

-Celebrity Edge is the most expensive cruise ship sailing at $1.1B.
-couple in the pic gave the most points of any guest ever on Celebrity.  Their first cruise was on the Solstice.  They cruise a lot!

Crew have all made us truly feel like family and are sincerely trying to do anything to make us happy!

Great feeling!

You’re not alone. Same thing has been happening to me all day, along with several others at least. I’ve sent emails to support, with screenshots. Hopefully it’s fixed now, or soon will be.

Don't think that's accurate as the Symphony Of The Seas was $1.35B and is sailing, guessing there may be a few others.  Somewhat surprising the Apex didn't cost more due to inflation but perhaps they count E-class R&D as a cost of the Edge.

Anyways, thanks for your review, makes me want to book a cruise.

That's the starboard bridge wing.  That's where Captain Kate and the officers maneuver the Edge in and out of port.  They have an unobstructed view down the side of the ship from there.

Hello and I'm enjoying your posts! Have a fantastic cruise and thanks for sharing your cruise with all of us following you.

My husband and I cruised on the Edge last week and we had a fabulous time.  The ship is amazing, a floating museum and everything was perfect.  We met Captain Kate and she is awesome!

Can I please ask a huge favor... We met Putri from Bali, Indonesia and we exchanged e-mail addresses so we can stay in touch.  Sadly, I can't find her e-mail address.  She works at the Sunset Bar from 12pm - 4:30pm and at the Eden Bar from 6pm - closing.  She is approximately 5' 2" tall, black hair usually in a bun at Eden, ponytail at the Sunset Bar.  If you see her, could you please inform her that Trish says hello, I miss her and I can't find her e-mail address.  If she can send me an e-mail it would be very much appreciated.

Thanks so much and I'm so sorry for bothering you during the cruise. I'm stressed out trying to find Putri's information and I would love to stay in touch with her.

Have a fabulous cruise and looking forward to reading more about your cruise.

Cheers!

What have the table limits been for blackjack?

Thanks and best of luck for the rest of the cruise!

Wow!  Pretty certain this violates so many CC and Celebrity terms of privacy.  I’m sure it is well intended but I still say wow!

I don't mean to cause any issues.  I would like to keep in touch with Putri and sadly I can't find the note she gave me with her e-mail address.  If I violated anything, I apologize.

As I said I believe it was well intended but IMO has way too much personal information.  Could be wrong but I’d not want it with that detail if it were me.

How does it violate terms of privacy to ask the staff member to send the person an e-mail.  In order to do that, she would already have to have the person's e-mail.  MYOB.

Thanks for your feedback. Putri and I spoke a lot last week along with my husband and friends cruising with us.   Putri and I wanted to stay in touch and sadly I can't find her e-mail address.  I'm trying to reach out to her if graphicguy doesn't mind helping out.  I wanted to provide him a description and where Putri worked.  Not being rude in anyway but I would feel bad losing contact with her.   Sorry to cause issues on this thread... it was no intention to do so.   Thanks so much for understanding my situation.
