TAP Portugal airlines

We booked executive class seats from Paris to New York on TAP Portugal air last year. We were booked early in the year for a June flight after our cruise. Well we all know what happened. Our flight was canceled. But… no refunds.. no voucher. Only a year of messages saying I was due a refund but it takes time. Well so far it’s been over a year now. I’ve been on fb with flocks of people still waiting. I did have a refundable ticket. I’m Leary about booking anything. Beware of TAP

Ok, lets clear something here. TAP doesn't fly from Paris to New York. They do fly from from Lisbon to New York, or from Lisbon to Paris. 

 

So, there is some very critical info missing here.

What kind of critical information is missing??  The point is the TAP is a dead beat and wont do refunds!

Well...TAP frequently codeshares with other airlines, like United. Perhaps the OP booked through United, as TAP doesn't fly the route the OP specified. Was the OP offered a future flight credit of any type...it says a voucher. Finding it hard to believe absolutely no compensation was offered.

To echo Bruce - lots of missing info.  Were the tickets non-refundable consolidator tickets? Why do you think they were "refundable"?   What were the fare rules for the tickets?  Who issued the tickets?  Who sold the tickets?  Flight was "cancelled" - by whom?  Was it that the cruise didn't go, but the flight actually operated?

 

But it now becomes another "Don't fly XYZ Airline" posting.

Yes.  In recent weeks, I have read several reviews of TAP, particularly Business Class, that were quite positive.

If you just wanted to whine, fine.  But, as stated TAP does not fly that routing.  So, hard to take your complaint seriously.

At no point in that schedule does it say TAP flies from Paris to New York, or EWR. It looks like a non-stop from LIS to EWR.
