Free Cruise Certificates from Land Based Casinos

Twin River Casino in Rhode Island is giving out cruises the 27th. In the past we have picked up the voucher at the casino, but due to Covid, last time they gave them out you had to go swipe your card in a kiosk, and they mailed you the voucher. This time the offer says to come swipe your card to see if you are a winner. I say I better be a winner!! The cruise vouchers are one of the reasons I have been going to Twin River. With cruise prices up, the voucher make a cruise more affordable, even after I deduct my gambling expenses LOL.

i swiped last weekend at the kiosk at bally's AC for a certificate, which i was told would be sent to me via snail mail within 10 - 14 days.

6 months to book... 18 months to sail. my first certificate from the new bally's.

(fyi, twin river worldwide holdings' corporate name is now "bally's," ever since they purchased bally's AC from caesars entertainment. the name went with it, although caesars still maintains the right to use the name for their property in las vegas.)

i already have three cruises booked, so i doubt i'll be able to use this one. i also have another certificate from caesars that went stale.

Update: I just received a card from Twin River saying that I won a free cruise and need to swipe my card on August 28th. Could I possibly win on Friday the 27th as well, or do I only get the one cruise? How many trips can I get my husband to agree to? 😄

Had email for my first voucher offer to pickup in vegas on one of 4 different weekends.  None of which we could make.   I contacted reservations to change our cruise we had previously booked to a different date/ship and they said they had my voucher and would apply it.  Dropped my balance due by $1600.

A few more questions, please:

Is this for seven stars only?  Can diamond players participate?

If so, is this by invite only?

Which days are the actual days to earn?  How many tier points must be earned for the cruise certificate?

Thank you so much for the information 🙂

I'm a diamond, and I have the same offer.  It doesn't say that there is a requirement to earn a certain amount of tier points, and there has never been a tier point requirement to collect the certificate that I've even seen.  You can check your Caesars rewards account for the invite

The casinos use their own analysis to select who gets what promotions. If you have a host ask your host to be included. I don't ever recall getting an offer from Ceasar's for a cruise certificate. I get them from Twin River (now owns Ballys' in AC). I have also called NCL Casinos at Sea and they've said, oh you have a certificate from XXX and I can book from there.

Like I mentioned, I don't have the invite from Twin River. It may come or they may have decided to exclude me this time, totally legit decision for them to make, either way.

It is by invite only, so check your Caesar's account.  I've seen similar offers go to friends who were Platinum or Diamond.  (I am usually offered Balcony or Mini-suite; others could be offered OceanView or Inside).

If you don't have it on your offers, but you have a host, you could ask if you could be added.  (Not sure if they could, but never hurts to ask),

No requirement to play a certain amount.

I fortunately found my hosts number and texted her.  The Golden Nugget in Las Vegas is doing a NCL cruise certificate event October 9-10.  I  was able to secure my invitation!  With the cost increase in cruises, I am thrilled to be back on the list to receive invites.  I am booked for three cruises between now and the end of January, but in my opinion.....you  can never have too many cruises booked!

Thank you  everyone for the posts and information.

My certificate invitation came, but we'll be away at that time. Last time TR had a make up date so perhaps I can take advantage of that. I also have called CAS regarding a cruise and they've had the TR certificate in my account even before I've known it was coming, lol.
