Voice of the Ocean

We have really enjoyed Voice on past cruises. Is it continuing as cruises start back?  We don't cruise until Jan but wondering and planning already!

For the Alaska cruises this summer the Voice of the Ocean is not being offered as it is one of the events not occurring due to pandemic precautions.

Current information for U.S. voyages until Oct 31^st, and also for UK Seacations

Shared experiences and larger group events including indoor dancing, nightclubs, karaoke and singing groups, The Voice of the Ocean, behind-the-scenes tours, Captain’s Champagne Waterfall, and group renewal of vows will not be available during these cruises, with the exception of select instructor-led classes hosted with physical distancing.

Currently there is no Voice of the Ocean.

Princess was running a competition from 1/30/2020 to 9/5/2020, in which a video of each winning singer's performance would be reviewed by a panel of judges, and they'd then select 9 finalists for a "Grand Finale" to be held on the Royal Princess in early November.

There were only a handful of winners, (including me) who qualified before the contest was cancelled.

I emailed customer relations, asking them to consider including our winning performances if they bring the concept back. Originally, they planned on having 271 semi-finalists, so what's a few more!?

I hope they do bring back the concept and that they include you original semi-finalists in the pool. It must have been so exciting to win Voice of the Ocean on your cruise knowing that it would give you this incredible opportunity, and so crushing to have the opportunity taken away.

We were on the Regal in February 2020 and the winner of the Voice sounded exactly like Patsy Cline ( if not better) . I do hope she gets a chance to compete. Everyone in the audience was on their feet .
