What is the food like please, is it worth the extra?

It's more about presentation than the food itself . They pretty much bring out everything on the menu unless you tell them otherwise. We were a party of 4 and there was plenty of food. However, with covid they may not still be serving it family style. Is it worth it?  I think that the entertainment value of the presentation out weights the food. It's not bad food but it's a one and done experience. I would rather go to a restaurant where they serve individual meals. Wonderland is a lot of fluff. For example they serve you a tablespoon of lobster bisque soup and call it liquid lobster. It's literally served on a table spoon.

I liked wonderland and hope to go again!  The food was different and the presentation was really special.  The drinks were great too.  Make sure you splurge on a drink there.  We really liked it.  Read the menu in the front or if it available on line.  If you like it, go.  To describe it would ruin it.

Its the specialty restaurant I'm looking forward to the most.  I haven't been yet. The smoked egg, the shrimp and that wasabi crab cone are definitely up my alley.  Entrees sound kinda interesting.  Not really much on desert but will probably at least try the chocolate sphere.

Wonderland is a foodie experience and very interesting concept. You don’t go to wonderland and expect a hearty portion of main course, you would want to be there for the adventure and innovative culinary concepts.

We really enjoyed Wonderland a lot.  We let the waiter choose our meal as suggested and he presented us with 13 courses.  Sounds like a lot of food by some are small, like the caprese that is in a test tube and the wasabi crab cones (would order more of those in the future).  We had 7 appetizers, three entrees and three desserts.  There was only one appetizer that we didn't like, a tuna tartare presented in a lime with a lemon gratinee with flying fish roe.  We just weren't into the texture of the fish, the ice and the flying fish roe were really good.  I would cut back on entrees in the future, the fish with the crouton was excellent, the other two entrees were good, but too much food.  Desserts were delicious, one was a palate cleanser, the globe is a masterpiece, would pass on the third.

It is really worth trying at least once.

Diamond+ on RCI. Buy UDP each cruise. Our favorite is Wonderland! It's a Must! Menu makes no sense.. Let waiter make choices. If you don't like what waiter brings,  leave it. Go to You Tube and watch videos of Wonderland.

Everyones food tastes are different. If you really like something,  order seconds.

Presentation is only half of the experience at Wonderland. We don't return there every cruise because the food just looks interesting. The menu here serves up a whimsical version of classic meals. These are literally dishes prepared through an inventive prism like they were concocted by a magician.

Vegetables in the Garden arrives with an array of succulent legumes all standing at attention as if they sprouted moments earlier. The waiter then drizzles a white dressing over them like an intermittent snowfall.

Buffalo Chicken eggs arrive concealed in a transparent cloche that when lifted reveals a curl of white smoke that enhances the appetizer within.

Oceanic Citrus presents a selection of scooped out halved limes filled with fresh tuna and topped with a refreshing dollop of lemon sherbet.

Liquid Lobster arrives on a table spoon and delivers a zesty, savory taste of fresh lobster that delights.

Branzino in Crispy Bread - A de-constructed breaded fish with a fine crispy layer of bread above a moist, zesty and flavorful serving of fish.

The World - A perfect globe of milk chocolate conceals a scoop of ice cream and meets a generous drizzle of warm caramel to transform into a decadent hot fudge sundae.

Wonderland is a feast for the senses and truly delicious. Challenge your taste buds. Don't miss a to experience this unique, terrific restaurant.

Day 2 and Day 6. Formal night is a great time to visit Wonderland our idea too.

Milk chocolate? What a waste.  😞    Maybe someday they will offer dark chocolate.  🙂

No.  You're basically going for the show.  And really strange food in small portions.  Worth doing once just to experience it.

We have dined at Wonderland 4 times... Twice on Harmony and twice on Symphony. There were things we had at both that were completely different and things we had that were the same and we tried new things the second time on both ships.
On Harmony we both really loved the chicken. So simple but sooooooo sooooo good. We were a tad disappointed it wasn't the same on Symphony but it was still good. It just not something we will remember like we did on Harmony.
Next for us, is to try Wonderland on Quantum Class...
