Then escorted through security then to inside lounge which I have seen picture and it is tiny compared to what we've had in the past here upstairs.  Not sure why it is now a small venue.

Meraviglia has been docking at a different terminal than she did in the past.  That is probably the reason for the smaller lounge.  Her former terminal is under construction and, I think, is going to be another Carnival dedicated terminal.  But, other ships will be able to dock there when it's available.

I saw one post before Divinia sailed saying Arthur was on Divinia.  It was from a person here with normally inside contacts.

See you then hopefully.  Were you the one in Hawaii last year or was that MichiganBound?

No that was BermudaBound maybe? I know exactly who you’re talking about. No he and I and you were holding up the forums on here through the worst of it!!! haha.

See you soon! Enjoy Mera.

We fly into MCO Sunday morning, should be there by 10AM. We have a wedding on Sat and couldn’t fly down day prior, this is a first. We have a backup flight booked three hours later on another airline with a fully refundable fare if the 6AM goes sideways.

Dexddd, can you let me who is the Maitre’d in the YC and if Caio is still at the concierge desk?

We've met him briefly the first day and two nights ago.  I didn't catch his name though but I'll try tonight.

Concierge has like 4-5 people that I've seen but we've mostly talked to Genevieve (Jen) who is outstanding.  I'll try to catch the rest.

Thanks very much dexddd.  We had him on the Canadian cruise in October 2019 and we will be on Meraviglia in a week or so.  We were a group of 8 last time and he really took great care of us.  This time we’re 10.

You will have a great time.  He looks like he is 14 with nice skin.  My DW didn't say that because of having a mask on.  He is very nice.  Plus I think she is out of sorts she heard DWTS started.

Hope your last night aboard the Meraviglia is a great one!  On to the Divina soon for you guys.  How does it feel to be back to cruising?

We have had great time but bed is soon.  Then drive and hotel and laundry.  We all passed our tests today so in a world of crazy we can go Sunday.

Weird but nice.  For both crew and us.  We all want to do what we used to do but it keeps getting extended more or less.   This past week we we were gone, we had 3 covid calls at home and at least two no idea where whey would get it from.  Glad to miss those calls.

Do you know how full the ship was for your sailing?  Was the food at the yacht club buffet good? It has varied on the seaside and divinia.

thank you

They said 1,500 people total.  I'd say definitely not more than that from rough obvervation.  The Thurs. before sailing there were 33 or 34 YC rooms open and all but two rooms on starboard side on 15 were open as well as the other RS.  Some of those on 15 did become occupied but we never saw that many people.  I'd say YC was 50-60% full.

The buffet food seemed a bit scaled down but we weren't there all days due to being at OC twice and excursion in Jamaica.  You can't order a pizza to pool deck I was told any longer.  They do have burgers to order and a carving station.  Compared to Seaside it was scaled back but so were things like the main buffet which at off peak times had very limited selections like burgers, dogs, pizza, salad, and a few desserts.

We passed our tests so tomorrow we sail Divinia.  I'll post some more pictures after we get back.  It is a bit of a process as I had to take with phone, email (computer and phone not playing nice together), then upload to CC.  On MSC the free internet is only two devices so I couldn't just log into an account and use either or like on NCL where'd I'd use computer for writing and phone for direct posts to CC.  This upcoming trip we have no internet so will post as cell coverage works.

Glad you passed your tests.  Thanks for the updates and have a great time on Divina!

Great to be back.

Hopefully you made it and will have a great trip.  Also hope you get Kunal and Paris in Le Muse.  They are great.  Ask for the Kunal Marine Margarita at Ocean House and his special sundae in Le Muse.

Arthur is there too to make it even better.
