The Scarlet Lady continues to pummel my taste buds at every turn... (In a good way) As well as the beautiful presentation, the food is just on "another level"...

Thanks for such a fantastic live review.  Just made our dinner reservations for our cruise on the Scarlet Lady later this month.  Lots of positive anticipation here. Cheers to you! 🙂

Have you experienced any great food or beverages in Atlanta yet?

I’m not a city person by any stretch. I’m staying in McDonough and my only real free time is Saturday and Sunday. I’ve gone home a couple weekends but staying this weekend. Going over to a buddies house in a little bit for a cookout. I don’t know that I’ll venture into Atlanta proper. I’ve been downtown at various points in my life but don’t have much desire to do anything there this time. Although we have talked about hitting up TopGolf sometime, I’m definitely going to Andretti at some point for the racing simulators, and finding some posh place to eat at least once. Someone in class mentioned Iberian Pig, and we were told Vortex has a pretty good vibe and food also. I seek out good food, and unique food, so I’m eyeballing some places closer to where I’m at. Got a Korean BBQ spot lined up, an Indian place to check, and some others. Unfortunately this 10 week rip is basically all work, no play... but I’m trying to fit some play when I can.

Iberian Pig is great, and I can walk to the one in Buckhead from my apartment... The Vortex is good for a huge sloppy burger.

Cute, but is that really necessary on an adults only ship? Have you seen anyone on either of those?

I'm excited to ride them when I sail in December. I think it's healthy for adults to enjoy some whimsy fun from time to time.
