Horizon Court Coffee

It has been a while since we have cruised Princess and the coffee that was served in the Horizon Court was a syrup that was almost undrinkable.  We ended up spending most of our coffee drinking at the International Cafe so we can have a half decent cup of coffee.  Has Princess upped their game on their coffee?  Other cruise ships have done so.

All Royal class ships use ground coffee

Royal-class ships were built with the ground coffee machines & likely could have been installed on other ships during the pause. Unfortunately I haven’t read about those better quality ground coffee machines being installed on other Princess ship’s buffets.

The syrup based coffee is tricky. I have had a pretty darned good cup of coffee and then got a refill that was beyond horrible. I guess it depends on how it is made. Go with Princess Plus and get your coffee at IC. I could really use a nice Vanilla Latte with a shot of Jameson right now...

We had princess plus and were able to get speciality coffee's in horizon court on both Regal and Sky, we just asked the waiters and they either scanned our card or took our room number.

We made the mistake of getting a cup of coffee in the Horizon Court after having one in the International Cafe and it was undrinkable.  Don’t know why it’s so bad but it is.
