Where are the RCCL experts?? Help me pick a cruise, please! :)

We are looking at these three cruises. I’m looking for feedback as to which sounds the best and why.  Price not a consideration, as they are all within $100 of each other. (Even the 8 day).

 

1. Harmony of the Seas, 7 days

          sailing from: Orlando

          Ports: St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Coco Cay

 

2. Symphony of the Seas, 7 days

           Saling from: Miami

          Ports: St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Coco Cay

 

3. Explorer of the Seas, 8 days

          Sailing from: Miami

          Labadee, La Romana, Curacao, Aruba

 

We are looking for a ship with bells & whistles (we have teenagers who love the water slides, etc).  And ports with awesome beaches.

 

We haven’t been to any of these ports, so they would all be new to us.

 

Which would you recommend and why?

Symphony - Miami easy for travel(short ride to pier), Symphony keeps the teens busy, Coco Cay better than Labadee, St Thomas and St Maarten(got to go to Maho beach once) have some great beaches.(Look them up)  Also St Thomas has St John beaches.

Count Explorer out.. No slides  ..I wouks do whichever ship (Sym or Har) is less expensive...

I would pick either the Harmony or Symphony and go with which ever one is easier to get to. Are you driving or flying in? As for Labadee Royal isn’t going there right now so that will be changed.

8 is better than 7. Southern Caribbean is better than Eastern.

I personally would do HOTS out of PC and add a pre or post cruise day to do the Kennedy Space Center.

inasmuch as I love a Southern Caribbean itinerary, I love a newer ship better. So, either Harmony or Symphony for me.

I would choose Symphony from Miami, easier to fly into.  Orlando does not have a port, you would need to get to Port Canaveral to cruise.  Labadee is not open at this time.  Symphony and Harmony have more bells and whistles than Explorer.  However, no cruise is a bad cruise!  Enjoy! 🚢

That was my first thought too but if her teenagers want water slides onboard the ship then explorer won't work for them.

Oasis class beats Voyager class hands down imo therefore Symphony or Harmony. As their itineraries are identical, I would opt for whichever port works best travel wise.

We pick the cruise we want.  Why do some people need others to pick their vacations for them?
