Rare aring75 Posted October 18, 2021 Author #127 Share Posted October 18, 2021 There’s an extensive collection of Bigelow teas in the Lido (buffet), however, if you have the drink package, there are also Tazo teas available here included with your beverage package. Without the package, a large hot tea is $3.00 at the Explorations Café.

Rare aring75 Posted October 18, 2021 Author #131 Share Posted October 18, 2021 (edited) Kind of a gray day today. I think today will be the perfect day to find a lounger on deck and pretend to read. Edited October 18, 2021 by aring75
Rare aring75 Posted October 18, 2021 Author #132 Share Posted October 18, 2021 Found some comfy chairs on the pool deck. And look. The blue sky is trying to peek through. Ahhh…this is the life.

I mean, it’s cruise ship WiFi, so it’s definitely not speedy, but no real complaints so far. I AM, however, having some trouble with Cruise Critic. I’m still logged in (or at least it shows that I am on the site), but it won’t allow me to post. I’m having to logout, clear my browsing history, and sign in again almost every time. I’ve switched between Chrome, Safari, and Firefox and it’s a continuous issue. So I definitely think it’s CC related. Yup. I had a difficult time with logging in as well. There’s an ongoing thread about all the log in and staying logged in issues. Very frustrating. I enjoy the exploration lattes and the Dutch Cafe ones as well-I think it’s a caramel macchiato I get-been almost 2 years since we’ve been on a HAL ship I forget! Dutch Cafe has the yummy ginger type cookies too.

I got an iced mocha. Both were very good. Are the specialty coffees in the Dutch Cafe and the Explorations Cafe included in the drink package? (Thank you for the information on the hotel in San Diego.).

I haven’t even noticed them before now, so I don’t know if I haven’t been near one, or just overlooked it. I’ll see.

Side note: They offer almond milk for anyone who prefers a non-dairy alternative.

I just wondered how they regulate both the paying/drink card and the self-service aspect of it. Thank you for posting the picture.

The general rule seems to be, If you are walking, wear your mask. It’s okay to remove while seated at a dining table or lounging at the pool. However, they are still requesting social distancing. Also, some venues require a mask. Like the casino and on elevators. We received this health advisory information sheet when we boarded. (I have no idea why it’s so wrinkled, sorry!)

Rare aring75 Posted October 18, 2021 Author #149 Share Posted October 18, 2021 I told Mark about the cookies at the Dutch Café, so we stopped there for a nibble after lunch.
