Clouds to the west are finally breaking up after a cool, cloudy day. 
 

No idea how many people are onboard but it sure feels sparse. The Observation Lounge only had one of its three buffet stations open at lunch. I’ve shared an elevator just twice. It feels busier in my cabin area - the MBs sold out so there’s a solid stretch of occupied cabins. In the public areas though, it’s quiet.

I'm not big on the activities but there were some rumblings around some of us meeting at a bar on Sunday.  According to the daily, most bars open at 11:00, which I don't recall in the past.  Seemed that most bars (other than Atrium and the bars on the pool level) opened later.  Would be nice to find a slightly less crazy venue.

Perhaps that get together was meant to be more of a sailaway celebration type thing. ?  And that would be fun, but agreed, not in the Atrium bar area and the pool area gets crazy. Yet, still outdoors somewhere would be nice, weather permitting. We haven't been on the Bliss or any her sister ships in the past, so a bit unfamiliar with her. The largest ship we have sailed on is the Getaway, really enjoyed the Waterfront areas.

Used my platinum dinner at LeBistro last night, was sooo good, they even gave me a free double shot of espresso! Chose the moscato as my free bottle of wine, I’ll be having that tonight on my balcony, so expect some photos

I’m doing more testing today but I used Microsoft teams with my husband and quality from my balcony was very good! Good in room too, haven’t tried other areas of the ship. Have FaceTimed with people.  Very clear quality, kind of amazing actually

I was wondering if transfer shuttles are available for people who fly in the day before...

We are flying in to Long Beach Airport, has anyone else done this?  I'm assuming they give you a time to be there to get on the shuttle?? Would appreciate any feedback.

We will be on the Dec 26th sailing 🙂

Cagneys was very good last night! They did have a couple of hiccups and we waited a while for our food, but they were very apologetic and didn’t charge us for the coffees we had! My apple crisp wasn’t warm but it was still good
