Flight home from Miami after Oasis cruise

Hi All!!

We are finally back to cruising. We will be on the Oasis of the Seas 1/2/2022 to 1/9/2022.  We will be in a Star Class Suite so can be the first off the ship. I have 2 alternative flights back home from Miami airport.  One is at 10:30 am and the other is at 12:00 pm.  Do you think we should be able to make the first or should we be safe and go with the second.

If you're among the first to disembark and will be taking an Uber to the airport, sure you can make the 10:30 flight.  What are your plans for disembarking the ship early (carrying your own luggage, not going to Windjammer, etc)?  Which airline?  Flying within U.S. or international?

The travel time to the airport is doable and you can make it if all goes well.  However, security at Miami airport can be a mess on sundays, even with TSA pre-check.  I have made a flight at 11 pre-covid, but not sure how things are now.  I would go with the later flight as you don’t want any added stress at the end of your vacation.

If all goes well, you might or might not make an 8 a.m. flight.  If there's a little hiccup, you might or might not make a 10 a.m. flight.  If there's a longer delay, you might or might not make a 2 p.m. flight.  If it goes awry, you might or might not make an 8 p.m. flight.

Thanks everyone for their advise. We do not have precheck so that could add time in security. The flight is back to Washington DC, so a domestic flight. Would be getting an Uber to the airport.

Take the 10:30 am flight. If something goes wrong hopefully they'll put you on the noon flight.

If there is room they will, but… For only 90 minutes difference why take the chance.

I would take the noon flight just so you can leave at your leisure and not stress about disembarking.  You don't have that far to fly.
