Rare wgeddings Posted November 9, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 9, 2021 Going on the Horizon for Thanksgiving (hurray) and completed my online check-in, got boarding passes and such. I am assigned to Muster Station C and it got me wondering if it is possible to see where Muster Station C is on the Horizon before the cruise. Not urgent but just curious. I did not see Muster Stations designated on the online ship map. I am sure it is a lounge or something and we did the new vastly improved Muster process on the Horizon back in August. firefly333 Posted November 9, 2021 #2 Share Posted November 9, 2021 Usually it's a letter and a number, c4 for instance. 4 is the deck, c is toward the aft. Look again I've never seen muster station C.

Why can't you put muster station locations on your online deck plans?

I'm looking at my vista card as I wrote it, which is sister to horizon. Says A4. I would think it would be the same as the sister ship. OP said there were on horizon.

I was responding to your comment that you had never seen a muster station C.
Rare wgeddings Posted November 10, 2021 Author #9 Share Posted November 10, 2021 Okay, it indeed has a number and my quick memory was wrong anyway and the actual muster station (having actually looked at my boarding pass) is D3. So if anyone knows where D3 is, please let me know. My main question though remains and that is whether or not there is a place to look up where muster stations are located before you get on the ship. We cruised on the Horizon in August and I don''t remember our muster station actual number but I know it was the Ocean Plaza right outside the Havana Bar. I remember having to follow the signs to it (signs pointing toward muster station G5 for example) and not knowing where it was and thinking how much easier it would have been if something had said "Muster Station G5 - Ocean Plaza". Don't hold me to Ocean Plaza being muster station G5, I know where it was but am not positive of the number.

Every cruiseline. It will show you with a dotted line or something the best route to your muster station as well as the location. And before someone tells me they wouldnt have been in their cabin, as I said above the number is the deck it is on. Go to deck 3 and walk toward the aft until you see D3. In a real emergency, it is the fastest and easiest reference pont. If you aren't near your cabin when an emergency is declared, you could be directed to a different mustard location, anyway. We demand condiment equality NOW! on the in ship video, new CFO (Chief Fun Officer) Shaq does a whole but about bringing all his various mustards for the mustard drill. Again, my question was about BEFORE boarding. On board it is easy enough to find the muster station, follow the sign, look on the door, whatever. I just think a ship map/deck plan ought to tell where the muster stations are. Edited November 11, 2021 by wgeddings
highcorral25 Posted November 11, 2021 #17 Share Posted November 11, 2021 I just printed my boarding pass for the Freedom (departs Sun 11/14). Muster Station B. No number. Just the letter B. We are in a Scenic Ocean View -- Deck 9 -- right above the bridge.
