Just enquiring about the above. Couldn’t find any info about it.

thanks

There is one or two threads about this for ships out of US.  Which ship as they were doing things differently.  Mera yes with mini booze.  Divinia one big bottle and certain items only first one free.

My January 2022 reservation on Seashore went from cabin -> guarantee -> cabin, so I was curious if stated YC benefits have changed after all that, but they look the same as before. In this case the relevant part is rather ambiguous and just says it includes "free minibar service".

I was looking at the Meraviglia.

From recent experience and not hearing of change, Mera little bottles of booze, gin, whiskey, vodka,  and free refills of snacks plus soda, water, beers.

Currently, still the same.
The chocolate peanuts are back!
we get canned peanuts, mixed nuts and chocolate peanuts.

Plenty of drinks at either pool deck or Top Sail Lounge.
I still find it strange they charge for movies On Demand in YC.

We are watching great old movies on TCM.

Also food channel , travel, CNN, Discovery and kids channels.

Yeah, I find it strange too they charge for movies.  Plus the selection is way down from our first trip.

But TCM was good for me and DW and DD like food network.  At least something to do while getting ready for dinner.

New change starting tomorrow.

we were told no more free nuts, etc in minibar.

Follow PRH advice, these are offered at embarkation lounge. Stock up then. Embarkation lounges in Florida only have mini bar drinks and snacks.

No champagne until on board.

Here on the MSC Bellissima (in Red Sea), the peanuts + Pringles are not included. The prices are quite high (6$ for peanuts).

It seems that mini bar policy differs a bit depending on the ship/location.

Looks like MSC is changing US sailings YC amenities to comply with European sailings and their policies.

Meh.

As I mentioned a few months back, in a thread on this subject, we'll choose a bottle of Absolut, leaving it unopened and (with some paint pens) make a souvenir by getting staff to sign the bottle and pose for pictures holding it. A sort of high school yearbook, but full of middling vodka. (I'd better not get any grief for taking my Absolut yearbottle around the ship.)

Regarding the use of minibar stuff in the embarkation lounge, that's just MSC using up the remaining stock. They'll change it again, once the remnants are gone.
