What happened to the recent thread?  I get an error adding it to my cart.

I did read that post.  It appears to have been deleted.
It stated that D&M will no longer be offered.  
It also suggested if you have already purchased D&M, it will be honored.
And, that Celebrity will likely replace D&M with some other offering.
That said, I thought you decided to purchase the D&M for your upcoming cruise weeks ago... (?)

I was thinking about it but as I posted in that thread (!), I decided not to.  You can't make any changes.  I called Celebrity and they confirmed.  They give you vodka for alcohol. I prefer scotch.  Maybe I'll do the new program.  

 

Don't know why the thread was deleted if it was correct.

Hmmm, Interesting. This must have just changed! I upgraded my upcoming Summit cruise to Premium yesterday but Drinks and More was still a choice at that point. I no longer see that option.

You may see it or may not.  If you see it and try to put it in your cart, you get an error.

I've had the D&M package.  To be honest, we did not think it was anything 'special'.  That said, we do have it again for our 11/22 Silly ABC cruise.  The casino credit pretty much takes care of the cost - if you play (she does - I don't).   Otherwise, the evian + tito's singles are a plus plus, not that we needed it as the premium gives us all we need to drink (and more ...)  At the rate we are per day, adding D&M for $9pp/pd works for us

It was worth it on 7 day cruises to get the D&M pkg.  I tend to take 10-11 day cruises preferably so not as much cost savings.  Can get what I need with premium pkg so was more an afterthought overall. The wines from what many said were crap and mini bar as nice as it is to have like I said easy enough to walk and get a drink to bring back to cabin.

It will be interesting to see what they replace D&M with.  They really should include it with the Celebrity Suites.  Should be fully stocked mini bar in cabin.

Why?  Even the Higher level suites do not include a fully stocked minibar, so that would be interesting.

We are in the Aft corner suite and being able to drink anything we want, as well as the snack assortment, from the mini-bar is a plus for us due to the time it takes to walk to a bar and back if we want something while sitting on our balcony.

Drinks and More is not included, we paid for the package.

Liquor is controlled, inventoried, issued, accounted for, etc. So there’s added cost to keeping a stocked minibar in cabins. Replenishment would be by a minibar attendant. Plus those 50ml individual bottles are more expensive than 50ml from a liter at the bar. Cost control is a thing even though it seems they give you everything.

We have Drinks & More upgrades already purchased for B2B spring 2022 cruises. Hopefully they will either still honor them (always subject to change, right, not to mention there will likely be customer service confusion with a discontinued product)... or they will indeed add something better we can swap into instead.

D&M was a nice addon, but the CA's didn't always remember to restock like they should because few people bought it. We appreciated the Kind bars and soft drink convenience in the room along with the casino credit.

I guess there are a lot of vodka drinkers b/c that seems to be all they give you.
