Ocean Cay Beaches

Have never been to Ocean Cay and was wondering which area/beach has good spot for young kids to snorkel or float around to see fishes?  Looking for some place with gentle waves.

On the south side of the lagoon is South Beach.

Seakers Family Cove is a great place for kids and families.

We were there recently and only about 2/3 beaches open probably due to not many people.

 

We were there four times in September and fish experience can be hit or miss.

We were at OC last week and spent the day at the Lagoon. 
Both the lagoon and family cove is calm but the lagoon does drop down to deeper water fairly fast so just be aware of that for small children it may not be ideal.

I asked today about what is happening in center of OC.

Apparently, they are not doing anything. Perhaps more employee housing at some point. 
As it is a marine preserve, NO water park or related features are going to be built.

I asked about large pile of sand at one end. It is for beach restoration .
