Really it sounds crazy I know…but I think my favorite would be horizon and I’ve never been on it. But I believe it has the Teppanyaki, pig and anchor, and the multiplex. I think it has the best mix of things I like when it comes to the differences amongst sister ships.

Whoa!  You're not saying you think you'd like Horizon better than Mardi Gras, right?  I get that you like the colorful cylindrical thing in the Horizon atrium, I do too.

No I’m saying I like Horizon better than Vista

and Panorama. That discussion was about the Vista class ships.

They needed to send someone down to check it out. I told them give me a minute to get dressed I was in the shower. As soon as I hang up the phone. Door knock. Apparently with this room layout you have to make sure the bathroom door is closed when you take a shower.

I think I do when warranted. In general I order things I’ve already had and I like. When the bacon was undercooked I mentioned it. When the 12 hour French toast was undercooked i mentioned it. When I ordered med rare with my steak n eggs and got med well I mentioned it. When there was a chicken bone in my sw chicken wrap I mentioned it. When I tried the peppered steak at JiJi’s for the first time I mentioned it. I don’t think there’s a need to critique every guys burger. But if something is wrong or bad or new I do mention it.

I probably should give an update on my mail hold.

 

For those who don't know I've struggled with mail hold over the years. I have had them not hold my mail. I've had them hold some mail. I've had them hold mail but then at the end deliver a bundle of someone else's mail.

 

I used to just do online mail hold requests. Then I started printing them out and leaving them in my mail box. The mailman just piled all of the mail right on top of that printout. So the next time I folded it where it popped right up in the mailman's face when he opened my box. That worked once. Then the next time he just piled my mail on top of it again.

 

At some point my Dad told me he heard they don't always get the online notifications. So I started doing it online AND going in and filling out the physical card. I think I may have bragged on my mailman a little too much because they got it right for a couple trips in a row.

 

This time...I was a little concerned. I got home and there was quite a bit of mail in my box..including the T-shirt in the above post. Maybe it all came that day..but I doubt it. I head to the post office. The line is to the door. I decide to come back the next day. I come back the next day and the line is even longer. It's beyond the door now. I figure I'll just bite the bullet and wait because the lines aren't going to get any shorter this time of year. 40 minutes I waited. And all they had for me was 1 piece of junk mail. That means they held my mail 1 day.....not happy.

I'm just now seeing this question and I don't know if anyone else has answered it but it's always the last port day of the cruise. You may have figured that out since it looks like your glory cruise was last week.

Why is that? Are sand fleas more prevalent if the sand is raked? Or are they raking to get rid of the sand fleas?

If you had a choice of connecting flights would you choose Austin or Houston  Hobby Airport.  The layover is close to 3 hours for both.
