No reservations necessary for either breakfast or lunch...just walk in after "washy, washy"...smile

Was the WJ open for dinner?

Hoping so ... we don't cruise till Jan 17th.

This is so sweet - love that you are celebrating your Mom!!!  Enjoy every second.

And if you see Dinesh at Playmakers please tell him that Desiree says hi - he makes the best Chocolate Martini in case you or your Mom are inclined.

I'm not sure if it was Dinesh behind the bar because we took a table but the chocolate martini was divine. 20211201_214142.thumb.jpg.d4dfa73e6f0ba8887b3c3e160008aa8b.jpg

Have they said anything about Positive Covid cases? I see the ship is under investigation according to the CDC website.

I haven't heard anything on the ship. One of the head waiters mentioned tonight that some crew just joined the ship and were quarantined but that seems like standard procedure now.

Day 2 was a lazy sea day for me. However, my stateroom attendant did get the virtual balcony working for me. I will snag a picture tomorrow when it is a little sunnier.

I read in the solarium, participated in Harry Potter and Disney trivia, lost money in the casino and enjoyed the show "Showgirls". Dinner was excellent as usual, I opted for the steak but couldn't even finish because I had a late lunch.

Gloomy day at sea was perfect for my crime novel:

On the CDC website it has Navigator on Yellow status which means it's under investigation.

https://www.cdc.gov/quarantine/cruise/cruise-ship-color-status.html

The site says definition of yellow status could mean that as little as 1 crew member tested positive, or they didn't submit  their daily forms in time.

Yellow Ship Criteria
Ship is at or above CDC’s investigation threshold:
Restricted Voyages:
Cases reported in 0.10% or more of passengers (e.g., if 6500* passengers on board, CDC’s investigation threshold is met if there are 7 or more cases among passengers occurring during the previous 7 days), or
This percentage includes passenger cases occurring within 5 days of disembarkation that CDC was notified of by state or local health departments.
One or more cases reported in crew.
OR
During the past 7 days, the ship failed to submit one or more daily EDC submissions on time (by 1200 ET). On a weekly basis, CDC emails all ships a reminder to submit the EDC form. In addition, CDC sends a reminder email if a ship does not submit their EDC form.

For those of you who have tried El Loco Fresh on board, did you like it and if so, which items were good?  Also, anyone know if the Escape Room closed? I don't see it mentioned on the cruise compasses AJ has posted.

We were on the simuplation cruise for Navigator last month and love the changes to the ship. El Loco Fresh is a taco bar by the pool and was great. We had chicken tacos and nachos. The Escape Room was not open for the test cruise. We did both new specialy resturantes and they were also great. Can't wait until we get back on for a full cruise. Enjoy.

The redolent aroma from El Loco Fresh attracts passengers like bees to flowers. The smell alone will make you hungry. All good and fresh...nachos, tacos, burritos, quesadillas...chicken, carnitas, beef, and chili beef...rice, beans, pico de gallo, various sauces, guacamole, sour cream, melted cheese....and of course chips. Gets busier after 3pm when the WJ closes. Note: Located outside, deck 11, by the pool...a bit chilly at times.

The Escape Room is still closed and roped-off.

Was Day 2 a dressier dinner night, or have they all been Casual/Resort Casual?

It was pretty casual. Some of the people that like to dance every night dressed up. It actually looked like every other night. I wore nice pants and a button down short sleeved shirt.
